Lovely picture. When was it taken? Some detective work suggest 1964. Am I wrong?

It could have been taken circa 1960 when the Trokart came out a year after the new Ariel Leader (1959) motorcycle shown in the picture.

The Lambrettas are series II before the series III (slimstyle) which commenced production in December 1961.  So the photo is before this date.

Station Approach, Harlow Mill, Harlow, Essex, if it is the same as the modern version. Not convinced as not any dodgy geezers hanging about in the picture.

1960/61 seems about right bob , i think, pre Trojan of '62 - at least the lhd Heinkel isn't yet badged as a Heinkel Ireland . the Norton twins extreme left are '61 onwards i think. BSA headlamp cowls went out about then too. window stickers for isetta, bond, heinkel and FRISKY also for the Paloma ! the by then tired looking BSA twin with double adult sidecar was on offer at £69 ( chalked on the sunroof ) - dont know my lightweights tho ........
