This item was not posted by any of my grandsons, they would not have mentioned my age!

Well quite! What happened to the age of chivalry?
I think as usual the journalists got there facts wrong, as far as I know Wayne Lee has the largest microcar collection in the UK with over sixty cars, unless anyone knows different.

Precisely Bob, I did make a point of saying that I thought I had the largest collection of UNUSUAL cars. Jean

Well, I think you are probably right there Jean, most of the other uk collectors I know have lots of the same cars eg multiple Heinkels etc. and not so many of the unusual ones.

He also appears on an old thread, as seen through the Perry oldScope of the Heinkel submarine.
I would put in a claim myself but I agree a collection implies differing cars not lots of similar ones. The only way that could count is if one was attempting to have every version of a marque. I am not doing that but attempting a reasonable reflection of the differing models over a whole range.

Richard, Wayne is a collector who keeps himself to himself. Not a bad policy really.
Al will not be interested because Wayne is an Essex lad like myself, as we are all villains, best stay away!
