« on: May 16, 2011, 11:28:40 AM »
I have said it before - last september - is your glass half full or half empty ?
if you were not at the micro rallies in the 70's then you take rallies and jumbles as they are now ! you cannot live in the past - however glorious .
i had a great weekend ! good company, good camping , great al fresco cooking , fantastic weather ( tee shirt only for 3 whole days , okay trousers as well  ;D ) great crack with past, and in at least one case , future owners of microcars,
parts found included that i know of ;
1 isetta bodyless very rough with v5 - unsold i think
1 NEW scootercar indicator switch with mint bezel  - the long one
1 NEW frisky indicator switch with mint bezel- the short one
1 HUFF reversible ignition switch with original key
3 sets of scootercar type door handles
2 Hella number plate lights for my bruetsch

I WANTED LITTLE ELSE FROM MY WEEKEND SO PLEASE DONT REPLY TO THIS POST WITH ANYTHING NEGATIVE COS YOU MAY SOUR MEMORIES OF A VERY ENJOYABLE WEEKEND

A VERY ENJOYABLE WEEKEND

My sentiments exactly, only wish I could have done the full weekend, but my new lucky bag has served me well.

I think blessed with reasonable weather too. Planning ahead and then doing what you enjoy with friends and a few rewards to remember it by, it gets little better than that.

I had to go to Hospital this morning. Not sure......
Seriously my last post holds true for what ever you care to do. The key is to enjoy as much as poss. I am greedy and want more of the things I like.
Hospital says my legs will not get better but the test show no other problems. So I have to loose weight and watch myself. I should not have dogs, roll on dirty garage floors and avoid any skin damage. Slightly impossible with my hobbies.
