Extreme Make-Over 1940s style
« on: September 07, 2010, 11:48:44 AM »
70 years ago today my workshop (at left, arrowed) was having major alterations carried out:

The plane was one of my top favourites, a Heinkel He 111:

Another Heinkel design now resides here:

Mine was made by Trojan of Croydon, whose factory was badly damaged by a bomb, probably dropped by another Heinkel He 111.

Funny old world.
Just remember: as one door closes behind you, another slams in your face

Knowing the bizzare wotld of coincidances, we'll end up finding out that the Heinkel he111 bombing your workshop was being piloted by Ferdi's Grandfather......   :o
