Home made Messerschmitt tool?
« on: October 01, 2009, 08:36:35 PM »
Found this tool today in one of my many boxes of old tools. Back in 1970 my Brother had a Messerschmitt and I believe this tool was used to hold the engine flywheel ? Can anyone confirm this for me.

The outer circle is 82mm, the inner is 65mm. The two pegs are 7.5mm diam. X 5mm long. The none threaded holes are 5mm. Metal thickness is 8.25mm.

Yep that holds the flywheel.
