Chris is right. There are no pictures with "D" stickers on them

there was a third picture showing the car witha 'D' sticker but I didn't include it...So back to the point, does anyone know what the vehicle is? ???

No idea, but I love the extreme styling! Just what exactly is in that long tail?

Dear Blob and Marcus

How come you two can see the images and nobody else can see them. Something very strange going on me thinks.

Blob could you post them again to see what happens this time. Also are you doing it from a Mac or windows machine?

here you go:

Chris it doesn't matter that I'm on a Mac and you a PC as the images are already on the internet, maybe it's an extreme case of jet-lag!

Dear Blob

No it is just the same as before a square with a red X in the middle that does not link to wherever it is supposed to link. Very strange.

You are right about the jet lag, but my computer stayed at home.

Chris are you sure you haven't turned off 'enable java' and 'enable javascript' in your browser preferences, images appear like this when turned off.

I seem to recall a VW based car (Waibel?) whose front end looks similar to this. I think they even made one with a large Heinkel engine which blew up just before a race because the throttle cable and linkage had been wrongly connected leading to full revs as soon as it fired up. Could this be prototype, before going to 4 wheels?

You may have something here Marcus, the eBay add came from a seller of VW ephemera, here's the original auction page:

Dear Blob

You may have something there as I do often get a message with certain web sites, asking do I want to turn on Java script. But not on this occassion.

So now I have to find out how to enable Java script permenantly?

Many thanks

Chris Thomas

Actually I have just remembered that the racing car with a a large Heinkel engine was a Veritas. I remember reading about Waibels in a classic car mag. The one they had used an early low headlight Morris Thousand radiator grille which was a good match for the original one.
