New mystery car
« on: May 25, 2009, 01:50:23 PM »
I thought it was about time we revived the mystery car competition. The winner gets a Tunnocks tea cake at Jeans. Can you identify this little chap?     and this one too

Awww! has someone slightly misused their power of authority!  >:( If you're gonna post pics, it's best to remove the information in front of the vehicles first. Well I'll wait until someone cracks this puzzle before I re-post my mystery vehicle, although Bob's left a small clue in the word 'little'.  ::)

Little? Are they Kleinschnitker Specials?

No, wrong track Marcus. Think American power unit.

No Kleinschnittger specials at all. For sure! I do agree, they could be from America.
Nice anyway.

Im surprised that Klienschnittger was suggested being a front wheel drive car and that the front axles on these cars are exposed.

The first is a Henderson and the second a Harley Davidson.

I've gone off of Tunnocks. Can I have a raspberry Wagonwheel instead?  ;D

Well done Rob, I hope you didn't cheat as well! :D :D :D. Yes, the Henderson is titled 1929 Little Mystery car. The Harley is even earlier at 1915.  I'm curios about the title of the second one, "Harley Davidson Baby cup race car" Was there such a thing as the Baby cup race? I cant find any reference to it. I found the pics lined up along with classic Italian lightweight motorcycles, whether there is an Italian connection I don't know. Can anyone enlighten us?

Blob.  I touched up the red paint on the Henderson bonnet because there was a tiny tiny mark on it, cant abide scruffy cars on the forum! Haa Haaa!!! :D :D :D  Now lets see your mystery car.

Ok, this photo was spotted on eBay, it could be of German origin as there was another image showing the car with a 'D' sticker. It's certainly a 3 wheeler but what is it?
